How To Remove Gel Acrylic Nails

When you remove the plastic wrap most or all of the gel nail polish should be gone.

Cut them as close as possible to your natural nails. File or buff off the shiny top surface completely. Finish off by wiping your nails clean with a fresh cotton ball soaked in acetone.

For gel nails try to scrape off several of the polish using a follicle pusher. Use a cuticle pusher or orange stick to gently pry off any large clumps. Use a nail tip clipper to cut off the excess length of your acrylics.

For gel polish and acrylic nails let it sit for at least 20 minutes. Using an alcohol-based remover wipe away any excess nail polish remover that comes off of the acrylic tips. If it looks white and you are using a solution to clean your gel nails then you know that you will need to clean them with acetone.

After enough time has passed remove the cotton and foil. Shortened extensions mean less product. You should notice that the product is pliable and comes off easily.

Remove your gel artificial nails or acrylic using this method. Next gently scrape the nail dry with an uncooked pasta fork. Dip a cotton ball or pad in acetone preferably the ones.
